Cabinet approves 6 posts in Parliament Affairs Deptt

Srinagar May 19: The State Cabinet which met here Thursday under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved creation of 6 posts for Parliamentary Affairs branch in the department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.The posts created include one Secretary (37400- 67000+ 8900) in the Department by corresponding reduction of one post in the cadre of Special Secretary/ Research Officer, one Reporter ( 9300-34800+4200), one Legal   Assistant (9300- 34800+ 4200) one Jr. Assistant ( 5200-20200+ 1900) and two Orderlies ( 4440-7410+1300).The Cabinet also expressed deep anguish and sorrow over the sad demise of Bashir Ahmad Wani (Sogami), father of Nasir Aslam Wani, Minister of state for Home, H&UDD, PHE, Tourism & Revenue.The Cabinet while conveying its heartfelt condolences prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.The Cabinet also condoled the sad demise of Sajid Iqbal Khandey son of Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, who passed away in a tragic road accident.While conveying its heartfelt condolences, the Cabinet prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
