Bus falls off Rajasthan bridge, kills 26

Sawai Madhopur, Dec 23: At least 26 people were killed and 23 others injured, when a bus fell into the river Banas early Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident took place at 0700 hrs when the bus, en route to Lalsot from Sawai Madhopur, fell off the bridge into the river.

Gas cutters were being used to rescue the injured. Ambulances were pressed into service to rush the injured to hospitals.
