Jammu: Demanding conviction of Parliament attack conspirator Afzal Guru, BJP today burnt his effigy in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

Led by district president Rajesh Sharma, the BJP activists this morning assembled at new plot area and demanded his conviction.

“If Ajmal Kasab, who killed hundreds of innocents, was hanged then why the government is delaying conviction of Parliament attack mastermind Afzal Guru,” Mr Sharma told reporters.

He said the Centre should immediately decide on Guru and he should also be hanged till death.
