Srinagar, Feb 21 (KMW): The Kashmir Bar Association on Wednesday faced grave humiliation after the incarcerated Hurriyat leaders in Tihar Jail denied meeting them against their ‘failure’ in providing legal aid to them.
Highly placed sources told Kashmir Media Watch (KMW) that a high level delegation of Kashmir Bar Association who is in New Delhi these days in view of the hearing of Article 35 A went to meet the jailed separatist leaders in Tihar Jail, however, as a mark of protest against their ‘failure’ in providing legal help, the leaders mostly arrested by NIA and ED refused to meet the Kashmir lawyers team.
Sources told said the delegation of Kashmir Bar Association after facing humiliation left the place following they were informed by inmates Ghulam Muhammad Bhat and Shahid ul Islam, on behalf of all inmates, about their reservations.
