Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Wednesday said banking and communication facilities were imperative for expansion of the trans Line of Control(LoC) trade.Speaking to a high-level delegation of Salamabad Chakoti Traders Union at his Nageen residence, Mirwaiz said the amalgam had always urged India and Pakistan to take steps for promotion of Trans LoC trade.“It is important that the items pertaining to the daily needs of people should be included in the current list of trading items between the two parts of Kashmir. Both the countries must remove impediments and ensure a hassle free trade for the economic development of the region,” he said.Mirwaiz assured the delegation comprising president Salamabad Chakoti Traders Union, Mohammad Tariq Khan, and spokesperson, Hilal Ahmad Turki, among others, that the amalgam would take every possible step in this regard.
