Srinagar, January 9 (KMW): Legislators from both ruling and opposition parties said that their constituencies are grappling with electricity.
When the proceedings of Question Hour began today PDP MLA Yawar Dilawar Mir, said that people in his constituency are facing  “ Electricity Crisis”.
“People in my constituency are facing immense problems because of water scarcity. They have been continuously complaining about it, but the government is not addressing the issue,” Mir said.
Mir said that all the Schemes of RAPDRP, IPDS, DDUGJY didn’t provide fruitful results in three years.
While replying to the legislators, Minister for Power development Nirmal Singh assured that Electricity problem will be solved up to 2018.
Opposition members, including NC MLAs, Davinder Singh Rana), Abdul Majeed Larmi, Ishfaq Jabar, Congress MLA from Banihal, Vikar Rasool don’t satisfy with the reply of minister they come into well.
They staged the walkout from the assembly.
Meanwhile, Legislator Er Rasheed created uproar in the Legislative Assembly over the arrest of Bandipora cricket team for singing Pakistani anthem following which he was marshalled out.
A heated verbal brawl broke out between BJP members and Rashid when the latter questioned what the problem in singing Pakistani anthem.
As soon as proceedings for Question hour ended  Rashid started creating uproar and barged into the Well of the House where he kept protesting for about 10 minutes.
