Kargil, April 15: As part of the ongoing Apricot Blossom Festival 2025 (Chuli Mendoq), Department of Tourism, Kargil, today organized a vibrant event at Hardass village in Kargil.

The Tourism Department Kargil, led by Assistant Director Tourism Rehmatullah Bhat, welcomed a delegation of international tourists from Thailand.

The event featured performances by students of Middle School Hardass, who delivered lively rhymes on plant conservation with an energy that bloomed like vibrant flowers.

Later, the tourists strolled under the cool shade of an apricot orchard a symbol of the students’ growing potential that added extra charm to the day, culminating in a generous donation to the school’s library.

The Apricot Blossom Festival is being celebrated across Kargil District from April 11 to 21, allowing visitors to witness the enchanting apricot bloom and explore a range of apricot-based products. The festival schedule includes events at Sanjaq (April 11), Garkone (April 13), Hardass (April 15), Shilikchey (April 17) and Gongma Minji (April 19), culminating in Karkitchhu on April 21.
