Gurgaon: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, who ended his hunger strike yesterday, is stable and recovering.”His condition has improved 30 per cent since yesterday,” Chairman of Medanta Medicity Naresh Trehan, who was monitoring Hazare throughout his fast, told reporters here today. The veteran activist was admitted to the hospital yesterday. “His condition is stable but he has to be monitored. He will be discharged when his body starts tolerating and digesting food,” Dr Trehan said. His blood pressure is 130/84 and heart rate is below 80, he said adding that it is a good progress and in the right direction. “The tests show that blood ketones and urine ketones have decreased and his weight has also stabilised,” the doctor said. Hazare had lost around 7.5 kg during the fast of more than 12 days.
