ANC nominates Banday as Vice-President

Srinagar, (KMW News): In an important development of its kind today, the president of ANC Begum Khalida Shah today nominated Iftikhar Ahmad Bandey as the vice-President of the party to substantiate, strengthen and further expedite the working of the party. It is worth mentioning that Bandey happens to be the progeny of former minister late Hissam-ud-din Bandey, who is known enough to have made a mark in the annals of history of Jammu and Kashmir by virtue of his dynamism and leadership qualities. It is to be noted here that IftikharBandey after superannuating from government services has jumped in to the political arena to make a mark in the field of service to the nation and people in general here in this new capacity also, as he rendered as an officer of the government.

Pertinently, ANC president continuing the speedup of the political activities of her party recently elevated senior leaders viz: Khwaja Deen Muhammad Wani and Haji Peer Nazir Ahmad to the levels of provincial vice-presidents, as per which Khwaja Deen Muhammad would be also looking after the political affairs of the party in Jammu Province and Peer Nazir Ahmad after the affairs of Ladakh and Kargil respectively.
While addressing the party gathering Begum Shah also insisted the District level heads of the party to expedite the membership process of the party in their respective districts as well as get avowed to the problems faced by common people in their day to day affairs so that they could be accordingly highlighted before the people at the helm of affairs to get them addressed. Taking cognizance of the same the Provincial President of ANC for Kashmir Lateef Ahmad Khan consequently issued a circular in the same regard to the district heads of the party.
