REASI, (KMW News): Minister of State for Revenue, Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan today visited the far flung areas of Reasi district including villages of Darsa, Lapra etc.
He interacted with the villagers there and sought their feedback. At many places people brought into his notice their day to day problems.
Addressing a gathering at Darsa Gali, the Minister announced release of Rs. Seven lacs out of his Constituency Development Fund for the construction of Darsa Gali-Lapri road to facilitate movement of people between the two villages. He also announced construction of a passenger shed at Darsa village.
Mr. Ajaz said the Government has embarked on a developmental plan in which the far flung and remote areas have a special place. He said development of infrastructure in terms of road connectivity, power, health etc. in remote areas is being given priority and asked people to cooperate with the Government in this regard.
Many prominent citizens of the area including Mr. Altaf Hussain Lone, Choudhary Makhna, Choudhary Kareem etc. accompanied the Minister during the visit.
