Srinagar, (KMW News): After his release, senior pro-freedom leader and National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Tuesday today visited the party head office where he was received by party’s central office bearers.

In a statement a spokesperson of the party said for this purpose general secretary of the party had convened a meeting in which all the district in charges also took part.
“After taking stock of the party affairs Khan revealed that Shaheed Afzal Guru has penned down a number of pieces while he was in Tihar jail Delhi and his well wishers have given them the shape of a book which is going to be released very soon,” the spokesperson said.
While paying rich tributes to Afzal, he said that sending him to gallows very secretly and selectively is a negative result of the ‘Indian arrogance.’ “Denying the body of Afzal to his family is a clear indication that arrogance of power has corrupted India beyond limits. Shaheed Afzal’s body has been jailed which not only is an illegal but an anti human and uncivilized act,” Khan said.
“What else will be proud for Shaheed Afazl’s son, wife, brothers and other family members than their family has given a martyr to their nation who is now living in the heart of every Kashmiri,” Khan said and added that discussion over Afazl’s hanging in the Norwegian parliament is a clear indication that the precious blood of Kashmiri martyrs has finally started spoken. He demanded that international community should play its role to handover the mortal remains of Afzal to its legal heirs.
The NF Chairman said that hundreds of Kashmiris are languishing in the jails of J&K and “India only because they are on the way to achieve the goal identified by the martyrs.”
“These freedom loving people are facing different hardships by the hands of jail authorities even they are denied the basic rights under jail manual. These pro-freedom people are facing every sort of trouble only to remember India the promises its leaders have made and to whom international documents stand witness,” he said.
Khan claimed that a Pakistani prisoner Sannaullah lost his life only because he was kept with the dreaded criminals in Kot Bhalwal jail Jammu. Khan referred to his statement of April 12, 2013 which he had made during his detention in the court premises. He said, “Had my statement been taken seriously, Sannaullah would have been alive.”
