Jammu: It has been rightly said that WHERE THERE IS WILL THERE IS A WAY Rohit choudhary son of ASHOK KUMAR a resident of border village KOROTANA KALAN, Tehsil RS PURA of district Jammu has launched a unique website for the voluntary blood donors in the state with a motive to serve those in dire need of blood. He had always an urge for philanthropy and wanted to serve the humanity in whatever capacity he could. Accordingly three months earlier ROHIT CHOUDHARY interacted online with his friends on a social networking site FACEBOOK and shared with them his idea of starting an online blood bank.

Later on one day all his friends had a request from a facebook group Blood on demand at jammu and Kashmir to register themselves as a volunteer blood donors. Thinking it to be a nobel cause most of them registered their name and now after 3 months most of them have come to know that he has launched an online blood bank in an area of jammu district , having the website www.indiadonor.in and made the search for right blood group match easier for those in need.
Rohit Choudhary as such belongs to a minority (jath) community and this endeavour has made all his fellow people proud of him. The most important aspect of his achievement is that being a lad from minority community who doesn’t have educational qualification above +2, he has launched a website for the volunteer blood donation with a motive to serve the mankind honestly.
While interacting exclusively with “KASHMIR MEDIA WATCH“he said “website www.indiadonor.in contains database of self -interested blood donors spread across the nation.”
He further added that ,”All THE data entered in the site is reliable and contains a list of the donors, segregated according to the blood type and location and accordingly his pursuit is to make the search for the right match more quick and cost – effective .” Appealing the volunteer donors he said that interested donors are required to register themselves on the website and provide their contact details and those in need could also put up their requirement on the website.
According to him, the motive behind launching this website is to provide this service free of cost and the future plan of the website is to organize blood donations camps with young generation of India and make the search for the right match quicker and cost-effective.
