Srinagar, Feb 10(KMW): Eleven people, including four policemen, three Central Reserve Police Force personnel and four civilians were injured in a grenade attack near Palladium cinema today evening.
According to a police spokesman, suspected militants lobbed a grenade at the CRPF picket near Palladium Cinema.
The injured civilians have been identified as Humaira of Hairwan, Abdul Qayoom of Mandibal Nowshehra, Taliba Gulshan of Dalgate and Shadab Shah resident of Nishat.
According to the spokesman, the area has been cordoned off and a massive search has been launched.
“The injured have been shifted to the hospitals for the treatment,” said the police spokesman. The condition of the injured is stated to be stable.
