Srinagar, April 06: Amid growing number of Coronavirus cases in the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir especially in the valley of Kashmir the education system has again been hit hard.

 Recently, Government ordered all classes upto & including Class 9 in schools to be closed for 2 weeks till 18 April 21 in J&K. Classes 10, 11 & 12 were also closed for one week till 11 April. Gatherings for social & customary functions will be restricted to 200 only.

But the Surprise thing is that in Baghat , Rajbagh , Hawal , Karanagar the hub of coaching activities in the Jammu and Kashmir especially Srinagar city students in hordes without any standard operating procedures are taking part in coaching activity . This calls that functioning of coaching centers be reviewed and considering the fact schools were observing the SOPs much better than the coaching centers.

Almost everywhere each coaching centre is overwhelmed with huge number of students and the physical distance between the students is not maintained. The not so vibrant approach of the authorities to make such centres accountable has worried scores of parents whose wards are enrolled at at these centres.

Masses urge their closure in wake of rising pandemic.

The violation of the guidelines is reported at the coaching centres located across various area of Srinagar district.
