2 more yatris die, toll climbs to 97

Srinagar: Two more yatris died, taking the toll to 97 since the commencement of the annual pilgrimage to holy Amarnath cave shrine on June 25.

A yatra official said here today that two more yatris died during the pilgrimage to the shrine, Situated at 13,500 feet in south Kashmir Himalayas.

However, the victims were yet to be identified.

With this, 97 pilgrims have lost their lives during the pilgrimage against 120 people last year.
