2 militants, soldier killed, four SOG men injured in Kupwara encounter

Srinagar, Apr 8 (KMW): Two militants and a soldier were killed while four personnel of Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police were injured in a fierce encounter in Kupwara since last evening.

Official sources said here today a woman, who was inside a house where militants were holed up, was also injured.

The SOG and the Army launched a joint operation in Zonareshi Chowkibal village in Kupwara following a tip-off about the presence of some militants last evening.
