150 to 200 militants active at launching pads on LoC: Lt Gen Singh

Jammu, Jul 26 (KMW): In the backdrop of increased ceasefire violations and infiltration attempts from across the border, General-Officer-Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps Lt Gen K H Singh today said around 150 to 200 militants are active across the border on the Line of Control and waiting at the launching pads to infiltrate on this side.

“There is a set trend that before the onset of winters, militants try to enter into our territory and attempts especially were being made in the months of July, August, September and October,” Lt Gen Singh this morning told reporters at the sidelines of 15th Anniversary of Vijay Diwas at Ashwamedh Shaurya Stahal at Corps Headquarters, Nagrota on city outskirts.
