09 gamblers arrested in Srinagar : Police

Srinagar ,October 23: Acting on a specific information, Police sub division Khanyar headed by SDPO Khanyar along with SHO’s of Police Stations Nowhatta, Khanyar and Rainawari raided a gambling site at Kaka Mohalla Nowhatta. Nine gamblers were arrested and stake money of rupees 66000/= was recovered from the gambling site. Srinagar police registered a case FIR number 111/2016 under section 13 Gambling Act and investigation was taken up.
