07 structures damaged in fire

Srinagar October, 23: Seven structures were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Shopian and Kupwara.
Fire broke out in a shopping complex at Teng Mohalla in the Jurisdiction of Police Station Shopian, resulting in damage of six shops belonging to Khursheed Ahmad Mir, Manzoor Ahmad Dar, Abdul Hamid, Bashir Ahmad, Ashfaq Ahmad Majeed and Ali Mohammad. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
In another incident, fire broke out in a residential house of Zubair Ahmad Mir resident of Patushie, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sogam, Kupwara, due to which said house got partially damaged. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
