01 dies, 05 injured in road mishap

Srinagar, 01 February: One person died while five others were injured in a road accident in Awantipora.
An accident took place between a truck bearing registration number JK02U-3725 and a sumo bearing registration number JK03D-9174 at Chandhara Pampore Crossing, resulting in on spot death of Ghulam Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Nagnaran, Achabal, Anantnag and injuries to Parvez Ahmad Wani resident of Doda, Mst. Saleema, Mst. Saleema Banu, Abdul Gani Koka residents of Chattergul, Anantnag and Gulzar Ahmad Naikoo resident of Poshnaran, Anantnag. All the injured were shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
