Yasin Malik Distributes Rs 5.36 lakh among fire victims

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman,Yasin Malik while visiting the families affected  by a devastating fire at Frislan Pahalgam criticized the government and ‘pro-India’ parties for allegedly giving cold shoulder to the households affected by the calamity. “Is is our moral, human and religious duty to help these poor people. These politicians come and ask for votes so that they could enjoy the luxuries of power but when people need them in their Greif and sorrow they (politiicans) run away and show their back”, said Yasin Malik. He appealed to all people to join hands and help the affected people. The poor people of Frislan Pahalgam who have been Devastated by fire are today in a miserable condition and anyone who comes across them feels sad, he added. Malik was accompanied by JKLF leaders Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Hussein Altaf, Bashir Kashmiri, Showkat Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Ishaaq Ganai and Mohammad Yousuf Mir. Senior Advocate Zaffar Ahmad Shah, “for providing legal aid to the villagers in connection of a PIL pending in court” and senior “doctor Sajad Ahmad Reshi, for providing necessary medical aid to the affected also accompanied the delegation”. Yasin Malik on the occasion distributed 5 lakh 36 thousand rupees among the affected people.”The amount was raised for the purpose from some wealthy people of Pahalgam and other areas”, the JKLF said. Yasin Malik while thanking the people who provided their money for the relief asked the general masses of Kashmir to stand up and help these brethren in this hour of need. Yasin Malik said that in these days of intense cold our brethren have been put to ashes by a devastating fire. “These people have lost everything and today they are even without roof and shelter and have even lost their clothes. These people need our immediate help so that they are able to face these coldest days”.
