Srinagar: Stating that the resolution of Kashmir problem should be based on “Insaaf (Justice) and Insaniyat (humanity)†within the ambit of Indian constitution, India’s main opposition party, BJP, Wednesday said that it wants to know how Jammu and Kashmir was a dispute.   “Bharatiya Janata Party’s stand is clear. We believe Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and non-negotiable but we want to know from those who say it dispute that how Kashmir is it a dispute,†senior party leader Rajnath Singh, who heads high power BJP delegation to study situation in the state, told reporters here.    “We are here with open heart and mind to know the facts about the Kashmir. Honestly, BJP wants resolution of problems in Kashmir,†he said. However, when asked whether the visiting team would call on the pro-freedom leaders as well, he said: “We will not knock at anybody’s door, but will speak to everybody who comes to meet us.â€He claimed that when the people suffer in Kashmir, the pain was felt not only by them alone but by the entire country.“Time and again, people in Jammu say there is discrimination with them and at times people in Kashmir complain same thing. As such, we will be meeting many delegations to know the facts,†he said, adding that party wants that every individual gets justice in the state.    The former president of the BJP said that the visiting delegation would prepare a comprehensive report about situation in the state and submit it to party president for subsequent discussion in parliament. Rajnath Singh said the team had met 25 to 30 delegations during its two-day stay in Jammu while it will meet 15 delegations during its stay in this summer capital.When asked about the BJP’s stand on revocation of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) or the issuance of Dogra certificates to residents of Jammu region, he said the issues had to be studied by the visiting team before a comment could be made. “We will discuss the issues with the delagtions and only then will be able to comment on these issues.† The delegation comprising of senior members would conclude the visit to Kashmir Valley tomorrow.
