JAMMU, FEBUARY 12(KMW): Justice Bawa Singh Walia today administered oath of Office as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Oath was administered by Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Justice Narayanan Nadar Paul Vasanthakumar to the Judge, in the Chief Justice’s Court, at High Court Complex, Jammu.
Earlier the Notifications received from Union Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Justice) was read by Registrar General of the High Court, Ms. Kaneez Fatima. She also read the Letter of Authorization by the Governor authorizing Justice N. N. Paul Vasanthakumar, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, to administer the oath to the Hon’ble Judge.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Justice Hasnain Massodi, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal, Director General of Police, Mr. K. Rajindra, Secretary, Law Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Director Information, President Bar Association, Jammu, Former Judges of High Court, Principal District Judge, Jammu, Judicial Officers, Members of the Bar and many others.
