Hanoi, May 30 A glass-bottomed bridge in Vietnam, which opened in April, has been declared as the world’s longest bridge of its kind by Guinness World Records.
Earlier, the record was held by a structure measuring 1,726 feet in length in Guangdong, China.
According to CNN, the Bach Long bridge located in the rural highland region of Son La province in northwestern Vietnam, connects visitors to a popular mountain resort and offers impressive panoramic views of lush mountain rainforest.
The bridge is suspended approximately 492 feet above ground and measures 2,073 feet in length.
The bridge has the capacity to hold 450 people at a time.
An SUV was recently driven over it to test its strength, CNN reported.
