Awantipora, Feb. 21: The Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST, Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, led a felicitation ceremony to celebrate students who excelled at the All-India Inter-University Winter Sports 2025. The event showcased the university’s pride in its student-athletes’ outstanding national-level performances.

The ceremony was attended by Registrar Prof. Abdul Wahid, Deans of various schools, the Controller of Examination, Assistant Directors of Sports, and other staff, underlining the university’s support for sports alongside academics. Dr. Hilal Ahmad Rather, Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports, opened the event with an overview of the competition and applauded the dedication of students and coaches.
