US drone strike kills six in Pakistan

North Waziristan: At least six people were killed in a US drone strike in Data Khel area of North Waziristan agency of Pakistan’s tribal region.
Sources said that the US unmanned aircraft targeted a vehicle and house in Data Khel area of the agency.
Panic gripped the area after the attack as the drone continued to fly over the area.
Yesterday, Pakistan’s foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar , during the commonwealth heads of government meeting, claimed that Pakistan has termed the US drone attacks inside its territory ‘unjustified’ saying these were counterproductive and diminished space for creating support against extremists in the region.
While at the same occasion Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has categorically said no permission has been given to the US to launch drone strikes inside Pakistan’s territory.
