SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 19: The annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA), popularly known as Dastageer Sahib was today observed across Kashmir with special prayers being organised at Khanyar, Saraibala and Rah-Bab Sahib shrines in the city.
Scores of devotees including women and children thronged the shrines to participate in the specially organised prayers, salutations and supplications.
On the occasion, religious scholars threw light on the teachings of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA).
Religious scholars stressed people to adopt the teachings of Dastageer Sahib in their lives.
