SRINAGAR, JANUARY 22: Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today visited city center Lal Chowk and interacted with vendors who were later passed off as traders’ body in the official press notes.

Naqvi was accompanied by Advisor to Lt Governor Farooq Khan and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Shahid Chowdhary.

The Minister assured them that all their genuine demands will be addressed at earliest.
Sources told Kashmir Media Watch that the tour and meeting with the vendors was arranged by Altaf Bukhari has been hobnobbing with New Delhi over the last couple of months in absence of senior mainstream politicians like Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti who are in continuous detention in the wake of abrogation of Article 370.
