Unidentified Militant killed, Policeman injured in Bawan Wathsar Encounter

Srinagar: In a joint search operation by Handwara Police, 21-RR and 6-RR one unidentified militant was killed and a policeman injured in encounter at village Bawan Wathsar, Handwara. 

In a joint search operation at village Bawan Wathsar, Handwara, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Zachaldara by Handwara Police alongwith 21-RR and 6-RR militants opened fire upon search party, resulting in one unidentified militant killed, also injuries to HC Sher Khan No. 876/AP 7th Bn.
