Poonch, May 1: Indian Defese establishment Monday said that Pakistan Army killed two of its soldiers and mutilated their bodies in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that that army JCO and a BSF head constable were killed as Pakistan fired rockets at a forward defence location (FDL) post of the paramilitary force along the LoC in Poonch.
The ceasefire violation according to Indian Army took place around 8:30 am. Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh and Head Constable Prem Sagar of the BSF’s 200 Battalion were killed in the attack and their bodies mutilated.
Army in a statement said that Pakistan army carried out unprovoked rocket and mortar firing on two forward posts on the line of control in Krishna Ghati sector,” said a statement, issued by Northern Army command on Monday afternoon.
“Simultaneously, a BAT action was launched on a patrol operating in between the two posts. In an un-soldierly act by the Pak army, the bodies of two of our soldiers in the patrol were mutilated.”
The army warned that they will avenge the Pak army action.
“Such despicable act of Pakistan army will be appropriately responded,” added the statement. (CNS)
