Two killed in shell explosion in Jammu

Srinagar: Two persons were killed and another seriously injured when a shell exploded inside a scrap dealers shop in Akhnoor area in outskirts of Jammu, official sources said on Tuesday.   “The shell exploded this morning inside a scrap dealers shop in Jourian area of Akhnoor in which two persons were killed and one person was critically injured,” officials told. The deceased have been identified as shop owner, Y Kumar son of Karam Chand of Dunchak Jammu and Pretam lal son of Ramlal of Dokhalsa Jammu. The critical injured, admitted in GMC Jammu, has been identified as Gurdiyal son of Shamlal of Duwachak Akhnoor.  Police also recovered two more live shells from the scrap dealers shop and has registered a case, the officials added.
