Two Kashmiri journalists felicitated at NCCT Media meet in New Delhi

Among the dozens of Journalists from several states and UTs of the country, two Kashmiri Journalists Rameez Makhdoomi and Bilal Bashir Bhat were felicitated by the National Council for Co-operative Training (NCCT) during the National Level workshop on “Outreach and Dissemination Workshop on New Initiatives/Schemes and Achievements for the Cooperative Sector” in Scope Convention Centre, Scope Complex, Pragati Vihar, New Delhi.

During the workshop, the components of the cooperative movement were discussed threadbare. Dairy cooperatives and fishing cooperatives, as well as primary agricultural credit cooperatives (PACS) were discussed in detail.

During the workshop, it was observed around 29 crore people in India are directly linked with the cooperative sector. Cooperative societies, particularly, in agriculture, dairy, and fisheries sectors provide the rural population not just with Livelihood.
As many as 70 journalists/writers and authors were invited by the NCCT aimed at to aware people on local levels of the schemes of Cooperative Societies.
