TWO DAYS RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP BEGINS AT BAKSHI STADIUM

Srinagar: The J&K Rugby Association commenced a two day Rugby Seven’s championship today in Bakshi Stadium Srinagar.

The Manager, Bakhshi Stadium, J&K State Sports Council, Madam Nuzhat Ara inaugurated the sporting extravaganza. Amongst other august gathering the President JKRA, Mr. Sarmad Hafeez was also present who promised about the continuation of such endeavours by his Association in order to involve more and more youth into such sporting activities which will hone up their skills and help them becoming an asset for the nation in general and the state in particular. He assured the players and the youth about his full cooperation and help for making such events a success.

In the ongoing Rugby championship 20 teams of both boys and girls filled with zest and zeal are participating under the Sub-Juniors, juniors and seniors genres.
