Srinagar: Earthquake of 4.7 magnitude and 4.9 magnitude rocked Kashmir valley since last evening, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic.
Head of the Disaster Management in Kashmir, Aamir Ali said an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred today at 0924 hrs.
The epicenter was located at Ladakh-China (Xinjiang) border.
Mr Ali said last night at 1900, an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occured with epicenter at Hindukush Afghanistan.
People rushed out of their homes in panic.
He said no damage has been reported so far.
