Kargil, January 15: The second day of the three-day training program on “POSHAN BHI PADHAI BHI” was conducted today by ICDS Project Shargole at CDPO Office in Shargole.

Today’s Resource Person was Syed Ayoub Shah (District Coordinator Mission Poshan) state level master trainer. He explained the key concepts of Managing Micro & Macro Nutrition Deficiencies, Management of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM).

Additionally, he provided valuable insights on complementary feeding and Home Visit which is a critical aspect of ensuring optimal nutrition for children.

The program was supervised by CDPO Shargole, Madam Farida Banoo, who ensured that the training was well-organized and effective. The diverse group of participants, including Supervisors, clerical staff, Block Coordinators, and Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), were fully engaged throughout the day. They took careful notes, asked thoughtful questions, and participated in discussions to gain valuable insights.

The Master Trainer’s presentation style was effective and it kept the participants engaged and motivated throughout the day.
