Srinagar, February 19: In a significant economic development, Bashir Ahmad Kongposh, a dedicated and low-level worker at the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (society), has called for a unified front within the trade community to confront the ongoing crisis. Engaging in detailed conversations with fellow trade organisations, along with Farooq Ahmad Shah, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Altaf Gupkari, Master Nazir Ahmad, Sami Ullah Sofi, Khalid Ahmad Baba, Nisar Ahmad Zargar, Mohammad Altaf Gungoo, they emphasised the pivotal role of the organised and efficient organisation Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (society) with its Head Office at Budshah Chowk, Srinagar, which serves as the bedrock of the entire trade fraternity in Kashmir. Together, they pledged their commitment to preserving this esteemed organisation, leveraging its resources to address the challenges faced by traders.

Following extensive deliberations with various factions of the traders association, all representatives reached a consensus: each individual and organisation would contribute wholeheartedly to elevate this historic institution established in 1944, primarily for the benefit of small traders and shopkeepers as well as to enhance economy of UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Encouraging a spirit of determination, Kongposh urged all representatives to step up and fulfil their essential roles during this critical period, aiming to enhance the well-being and success of traders.
