Pulwama, Feb 23: With the swine flu spreading its tentacles across Jammu and Kashmir, three more patients have been tested positive for H1N1 virus at South Kashmir’s Tral town of Pulwama district.
Soon after the news, District Development Commissioner Pulwama Neeraj Kumar visited Sub District Hospital Tral and the Ladoo village, the native place of those three patients.
Hospital sources told News agency that the three girls all from Ladoo village of Tral town were kept in isolation with symptoms of swine flu.
“The samples of all these patients have been tested positive for H1N1 virus and they have been kept in isolation while a special team of doctors have been attending them,” a Health Official said adding that contacts of all these patients have been given medicine as precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, DC Pulwama after his visit to Ladoo village asked people to take all possible measure to deal with the virus. He directed the Health Officials to treat the affected patients in isolation, so that others don’t get affected.
