The youth Congress will on Monday stage a protest in the capital over the Land Acquisition Bill.

New Delhi March 16: Earlier on Friday, party leader Jairam Ramesh had said that the opposition parties in the Rajya Sabha are against the amendments in the Land Acquisition Bill as it is anti-farmer.

He had also said that the bill would only profit businessmen.

Last week, the Lok Sabha passed the Land Acquisition Bill of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP Government at the Centre via a voice vote. Nine amendments to the bill have been adopted.
