Los Angeles, May 26 Following the Texas shooting that killed 21 people, including 18 children, American singer Jennifer Lopez expressed her fear of sending her children to school.Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Lopez said, “Broken-hearted… I’ve been so emotional and crying a lot since I heard the news about these beautiful children and teachers.”Along with so many others, I’m demanding for law makers to stop the violence that is happening across this country!!! Our country!! I am so sad and scared for our kids and loved ones.”I’m scared for all of us who send our children to school every day or going to the grocery store!! My heart goes out to all of those who have been impacted by this unimaginable act!!”The singer-cum-actor also demanded an immediate action to stop the gun violence.”I can’t think of anything more cruel or diabolical than to target small children. God help us!!! We need some serious change!!! And we need it NOW!!!” she added.’If You Had My Love’ singer has two children.In her Instagram stories she posted a list ranking countries with maximum school shootings as per a 2022 data. Here, the US was top with  288 such instances.She also a cycle of school shooting instances: Mass shooting, media extravaganza, thoughts and prayers, Social media gun debates, no one actually does anything, back to “normal” and back to mass shooting.At least 19 students and two teachers were killed in a shooting in a primary school in the state of Texas on Tuesday.A US Border Patrol official who was nearby when the shooting began rushed into the school and shot and killed the gunman, who was hiding behind a barricade.Two border agents were also injured in an exchange of fire with the gunman. One agent was shot in the head, officials say, adding that both were now in a stable condition in hospital.This latest tragedy comes just two days before Biden left on his trip, he met with victims’ families after a hate-motivated shooter killed 10 Black people at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York.
