Srinagar, May 31: As part of its continued efforts to bring formal banking services to remote and under-served areas, J&K Bank has commissioned a new Easy Banking Unit (EBU) at Main Market Tangdhar in Kupwara district.

Cluster Head (Kupwara) Abdul Majid Bhat inaugurated the EBU in presence of Estates Incharge from Zonal Office (Baramulla), Branch Managers of Tangdhar and Chitterkote, President of Beopar Mandal besides a gathering of valued customers, prominent citizens, local traders and residents.

During the event, the Cluster Head (Kupwara) reiterated the Bank’s commitment to providing efficient, modern, and customer-centric banking services, even in geographically challenging areas.

He urged the people of Tangdhar to make full use of the new facility and embrace digital banking platforms such as mobile banking and internet banking for convenience and safety.

The participants appreciated the Bank’s efforts towards empowering the people of Tangdhar through accessible banking. They also thanked the Bank’s management for recognizing the region’s needs and responding effectively.
