Srinagar, December 18: Srinagar Smart City Limited has launched its cutting-edge Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) alongside an e-Challan system, marking a transformative step in urban traffic management.

The ITMS is designed to improve road safety, reduce congestion, and enhance traffic flow. Key features include:
Real-time Traffic Monitoring: Advanced cameras strategically monitor traffic for efficient management and quick incident response.
Smart Traffic Signals: Intelligent controllers optimize signal timings based on real-time conditions, minimizing delays.
Automated Rule Enforcement: Over 1,050 cameras ensure compliance with rules, detecting violations like red-light jumping, overspeeding, mobile use, helmetless riding, and more.
E-Challan System: Digitized traffic violation processing ensures transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
