Srinagar Municipal Corporation Promotes Waste Segregation in Swachhata Pakhwada Cleanliness Drive Campaign

Srinagar, 2nd August – In a dedicated effort to enhance cleanliness and waste management practices, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation orchestrated a Cleanliness Drive today as part of the ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada campaign. The initiative was designed to enlighten residents from all 74 electoral wards of Srinagar City on the significance of proper waste segregation.

SMC officials and volunteers actively interacted with residents during the drive, aiming to raise awareness about the advantages of waste segregation. Through engaging sessions and practical demonstrations, participants were educated on the importance of segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste to enable efficient recycling and waste disposal methods.
