Srinagar Girls Shine at UT Level Softball Championship 2025, Coach Javid Ahmad Akhoon Praised for Outstanding Guidance

DYSS J and K organised the Inter District UT Level Softball Championship 2025 for Under 14 and Under 17 girls. The event was held at Khel Gaon, Nagrota from 14 January 2026 to 15 January 2026.
Teams from different districts participated with strong competition across both age groups. Matches were played as per approved rules under the supervision of qualified officials.
Srinagar district delivered an impressive performance. The Under 17 girls team secured first position and won the championship title. The Under 14 girls team finished as runner up after a competitive final.
Special appreciation was extended to Coach Javid Ahmad Akhoon, REK, for his dedicated coaching, disciplined training methods, and continuous guidance. His commitment played a key role in shaping team strategy, improving player skills, and maintaining high morale throughout the tournament.
Officials of DYSS J and K appreciated the performance of the players and the efforts of the coaching staff. The championship aimed to promote competitive sports among young girls and strengthen softball at the grassroots level across the Union Territory.
