Srinagar Deserves short term lockdown in wake of rising Coronavirus cases

Srinagar, April 19: The historical city of Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir . Srinagar is well known commercial hub of the region. The global Pandemic of Coronavirus has killed millions so far and infected crores . Srinagar District too has been worst hit by the Global Pandemic Coronavirus ,as thousands have been infected and hundreds died due to Coronavirus in the Srinagar District . As a matter of fact , Srinagar is the worst hit among the 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir in terms of Coronavirus.

Statistically speaking , the Srinagar District has so far recorded more than thirty thousand cases of Coronavirus . The death count is about 486 and yesterday alone Srinagar recorded about 520 cases of Coronavirus.
Being a commercial hub all the rural areas flow is on Srinagar and it is also the education hub of Kashmir . The need of the hour is to impose a strict lockdown in the Srinagar District as cases are mostly in the Srinagar District .
Realities call upon the Administration to think upon imposing at least one to two week complete lockdown in the Srinagar District.

” Srinagar District is the worst hit by Global Pandemic of Coronavirus among the all districts of Jammu and Kashmir . In the District in Second wave now hundreds of cases are coming . Scores have died due to Coronavirus in Srinagar District .The need of the hour is to impose strict lockdown in Srinagar District so as to save previous lives , states Abid Ahmad, a commoner .

Realities call upon all the stakeholders to ponder over the situation of Coronavirus especially in the Srinagar District and seriously think of imposing a strict lockdown for short period of time so as to curb the rising graph of Coronavirus cases .
