Srinagar, January 10 (KMW): A complete shutdown is being observed in most parts of Islamabad and Kulgam districts of Kashmir including the main town to mourn the killings of two militants in Larnoo Kokernag during the encounter with government forces and a civilian during clashes in Ghat Khudwani village of district Kulgam on Tuesday.
Local sources said that all shops, business establishments and educational institutions are closed while as public transport is off the roads.
Meanwhile, authorities have snapped high-speed internet services in the district.
Meanwhile, train service has again been suspended on Wednesday for security reasons in south Kashmir, where a youth was killed during the clashes between government force and youth in Ghat Khudwani area of Kulgam district.
However, all trains will chug in north Kashmir as per schedule, said an official from railway department.
An advisory was received from police last night to suspend train service between Badgam-Srinagar in the central Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region via Islamabad and Qazigund in south, he added
