Srinagar, Feb 2: Bashir Ahmed Rather led Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation Tuesday alleged that some so-called trade leaders tried to use their all resources to make the strike call of traders unsuccessful, however according to KTMF traders especially in city centre Lal Chowk have fully understood the ill-designs of these leaders who used the name of flood hit business community for personal gains.
In a statement to CNS, KTMF these so-called trade leaders grabbed Lakhs of rupees by convening a conference that was participated by Sarpanchs and Panchs. “These leader owe crores of rupees to different Banks and they left no stone unturned to defame the traders community,” the statement reads thanking all the traders who made the strike call successful.
KTMF alleged that these so-called leaders are the government agents who use government, print and electronic media for their benefit. “The way traders supported the strike call is an eye-opener for these leaders,” the statement reads.
“KTMF thanked traders particularly the vice chairman Kashmir Economic Alliance Farooq Ahmed Dar, General Secretary of the Kashmir Transporters Welfare Association, Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf, President of the Kashmir United Automobiles Federation, Hilal Ahmad Mandoo and other trade leaders for making the strike call successful.”
