Soldier killed in Pakistan firing in Keran sector

Srinagar, Nov 12: One jawan was killed in Pakistani troops firing and shelling along Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
“One soldier succumbed to his injuries last night in Ceasefire Violation in Keran Sector,” Army’s Northern Command tweeted today.
The incident took place today afternoon in Keran sector in Kupwara after Pakistan started unprovoked firing along the border.
As per a report, the Pakistani troops are targetting Indian posts and civilians areas using mortars and machine guns.
The firing from across the border prompted retaliation by Indian army which targeted Pakistani posts with heavy weapons.
