Snowfall on upper reaches, severe cold in plains in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 5 : The world famous ski resort of Gulmarg and other heights in the Kashmir valley received fresh light to moderate snowfall, while people continued to shiver in plains, including summer capital, Srinagar.

A Met department spokesperson said today that there could be light to moderate rain or snowfall in the Kashmir valley during the next 24 hours.

Gulmarg, a famed ski resort, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir, received fresh but light snowfall during the night, a hotel owner told.
