Snow forces closure of J&K Highway again

Srinagar: The 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway was closed yet again due to heavy snowfall since last evening.

A traffic police spokesman said here today that no fresh vehicle was allowed from Srinagar or Jammu this morning.

He said about two feet of snow was recorded at Jawahar Tunnel and one feet at Patnitop since last evening.

It was still snowing on the highway. (KMW NEWS)
