Snow avalanche kills two in Tral

Tral, Feb 18: At least two persons were killed when they came under a massive snow avalanche in South Kashmir’s Tral town.
A police official told  that the incident occurred in far flung Narstan village. “The deceased had gone to a nearby forest to fetch grass for their cattle when they were buried under heavy snow avalanche. During the rescue operation both the bodies were retrieved,” he said and identified the deceased as Yousuf Gujar (22) son of Jumma Gujjar and Yousuf Gujjar (32) son of Gula Gujjar, both residents of Narstan.
Tehsildar Tral also confirmed the unfortunate incident.
Shortly after the incident top police and administrative officials rushed to spot to assess the situation.
